Hillbank - A History Of Excellence
Hillbank was founded in Johannesburg in October 1977 by the late Stan Stander, and operated principally as a used Motor dealership. In 1982, under the leadership of the founder's son, Lance Stander, the operation began to service the insurance industry for the first time, by catering specifically for their need to dispose of accident damaged and recovered stolen vehicles.

In August 2002, Mark Groenewald, under the auspice of the RT Group, took over the helm as Managing Director. Under his expert guidance and restructured management, the company is being steered to new horizons in terms of expansion, technology, improved business methods and optimum performance.
