• Security
  Our security systems provide protection of all vehicles in our possession. We offer comprehensive insurance covering all vehicles under contract.

• SAP Contact
  Constant contact is maintained with SAPS Motor Vehicle Theft Unit Headquarters in Pretoria as well as throughout the country. We also liaise with the various Criminal Investigation departments in the countries bordering South Africa as well as the respective Commissioners of Police.

• Paid-out vehicles documentation service
  This service reduces fraud and assists insurance companies where documents are mislaid and insured's cannot be traced. On finalization of pay out Hillbank will register the vehicle into the name of the Insurer.

• The identification of vehicles
  Our coverage is national. We attend to travel arrangements and South African Police Services requirements to ensure the correct identification statements are obtained.

• Tracing for Insurance Companies
  Hillbank have specialized staff in this field. We investigate pre-paid out vehicles, fraudulent claims and all areas of concern.

• Court and High Court Orders
  Hillbank can obtain court orders in neighbouring territories on your behalf, assisting with speeding up of recoveries.

• Uplift and Store Vehicles
  Hillbank have an excellent line of communication with the South African Police Services. We liaise with the SAPS and expedite the collection of vehicles, specializing in this field countrywide. Once collected these vehicles are marked and stored in a secure area until the documentation has been finalized.

• Records and Documentation
  We maintain complete computerized records on each vehicle. Monthly reports can be provided. We obtain all the correct SAPS documentation and attend to the registration of the recovered vehicle. We arrange the stamping of SAPVIN numbers where necessary.

• Sales
  Vehicles are assessed and reserve prices are set. The vehicles are washed and placed into the sales area. Vehicles are sold by obtaining tenders. The Insurance Company reserves the right to decline or accept any of the offers submitted. Hillbank's motivated sales team attends to all sales requirements to facilitate a sale

• Towing
  We tow all vehicles under our salvage contract within the Republic of South Africa at no charge.

• Sales and Disposal
  Upon receipt of documentation for the vehicle, our motivated sales team will assist customers with the sale thereof.

• Release Charges
  Hillbank will uplift all vehicles under contract and pay the release fees for the salvage on your behalf, invoicing you for these charges & supplying supporting documentation. We will advise you of excessive release charges prior to uplifting the vehicle.

• Collection of Vehicles
  To save on storage fees, we do not allow vehicles to be stored at panel beaters once they have been written off. We collect them and tow them to our closest branch.

• Identification of Vehicles
  All vehicles are marked and placed into allotted areas to allow for easy identification.

• Storage and Security
  Vehicles are assigned storage bays to allow quick access to assessors. We constantly upgrade our security systems to protect your vehicles while in our possession.

• Documentation
  We maintain a full record of all vehicles collected by us on your behalf. We offer advice and assist you with obtaining the correct documentation. We will gladly supply you with the list of the License Department document requirements.

• Payouts on Vehicles
  We assist in establishing market values on imported and older vehicles.

• Replacement of Vehicles
  We will assist you in finding a suitable new or second hand vehicle replacement.

• Payment
  On receipt of all documentation we will pay the salvage percentage within the agreed period of time. Electronic payments may be effected should you require this option.

• Records
  Our records are computerized, which facilitates the access of information in assisting you with queries. We also supply stock aging reports, and we can accommodate special reports.

• Out of Contract Vehicles
  We will gladly assist you with the disposal of aggregate excess, self-insured, imported and burnt vehicles.

• High Value Vehicles
  We offer contracts on high value vehicles, which usually fall outside of normal salvage contracts
